Location: Dixon, California
Salary: $23-26/hr
Solano RCD is currently seeking a part-time Education Program Coordinator. Individuals selected for this position will typically report to the Solano RCD office located in Dixon, CA, but will also attend meetings, events, and field trips in the cities of Benicia, Dixon, Fairfield, Rio Vista, Suisun City, Vacaville, Vallejo, and some unincorporated areas of Solano County. Meetings and some project activities may also take place virtually. The hiring pools established as a result of this recruitment will be used to fill the current vacancy and any additional vacancies that may occur up to six months after this vacancy is filled. The Education Program Coordinator supports in the oversight of several K-12 education programs, as well as an adult education boater outreach (water quality) program. The person in this position must be civic-minded and enjoy interacting with diverse communities; work well with a dynamic and collaborative team as well as independently; and have strong time management and organization skills.
