Description
Organization: Wasatch Mountain InstituteJob Type: Full-Time
Location: Park City, Utah
Salary: $1,100 per month with additional education award and housing
The goal of this VISTA position is to develop the capacity of the Wasatch Mountain Institute (WMI) and to build the foundation for sustainable funding and programming. The VISTA member will support WMI staff in developing training for school programs and summer camp field trips; coordinating curriculum development and youth education opportunities; identify areas of support for instructors who lead small groups of students in curricular activities, large-group community development, and nature interpretation activities; and assisting in grant writing and fundraising efforts, under the direction of WMI CEO/grant writer, in order to ensure program sustainability.
